The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall switched on the Christmas lights in Tetbury last night.
Thousands of people gathered in the village on a cold night to watch the Royals flip the switch and illuminate Tetbury.
They were joined by two children who had won a competition to help them press the button.
Martha Jones, from Painswick, said: "It was amazing to see them both here in the village, really magical.
"He wished everyone merry Christmas as he walked to his car afterwards, it was special."
