Dad and mums were all smiles today as they welcomed their newest member of the family.
Two Christmas babies were born in Gloucestershire Royal Hospital this morning.
One of them was little Andreea Daniela, who weighed in at 6lb 10oz, and was born at 4.40am.
Delighted dad Ichim Daniel, together with his partner Georgjana Mitocrau, were waiting to go home with their first child together.
Ichim, from Gloucester, said: "It really is an amazing feeling, to become a dad. It is the best Christmas present.
"I think it is going to be a really exciting Christmas, and I can't wait to get home for that. The whole family is waiting to welcome her, and it is an incredible feeling.
"Last night was crazy, but this is the best surprise.
"The staff here were very good, they really took care of us."
