Special events will be staged at a city pub in the 12 days up to Christmas.
The Water Poet in Eastgate Street, Gloucester, will kick off with an adult creche on Thursday, December 13 for those who want to escape the shopping frenzy. Then on successive days there will be mulled wine and mince pies, a tropical night, meet the brewer with Gloucester Brewery, a Christmas quiz, a cake bake, wine and cheese, another creche night, and more right up to Christmas Eve.
