It will now be brought forward a week, to October 4 to 13.
It will now be brought forward a week, to October 4 to 13.
Festival director Jane Furze said: "The literature festival has traditionally been held during the same week as the October race meeting. Taking on board feedback we have received, we have taken a decision to avoid this clash in 2013, and have felt it best for festival-goers, local traders and hoteliers to move the festival a week forward.
