TORRENTIAL rain is heading for Gloucestershire next week, triggering warnings of more flooding.
The Met Office is predicting another band of wet weather to hit the county from Monday.
There are already flood warnings in place for sections of the River Severn in the county, including Abbey Mill, Upper and Lower Lode and Shakespeare Court in Tewkesbury.
Last night firefighters had to rescue a family from a car stranded in floodwater in Sandhurst Lane, Sandhurst.
The Met Office is also warning that snow could descend on the county during the weekend.
Forecaster Sarah Holland said: "There is a chance of snow before another band of rain follows on Sunday coming into the west.
"We could see an inch, which although doesn't sound a lot, is falling on already very wet ground."
