Gloucestershire flooding: Roads closure latest news

There are still areas of flooding in Gloucestershire today, even as temperatures start to plunge and weather looks to a more wintry front.
Gloucestershire County Council have had gritting teams out all night but there have been no reports so far of black ice.
Their teams were also assisted by fire officers who have off-loaded 250 extra sang bags for people in flood risk areas.

9.36am: Not flood related but an accident on the A48 Lydney, the following roads are closed until further notice: Harbour Road, Viney Hill , Cross Hands Junction.
9.24am: B4080 Bredon Road is open but reduced to one lane with some flooding, according to motorist passing through the area
9.13am: Flood levels in Tewkesbury have receded slightly overnight. Traffic is now moving more freely on the main Ashchurch Road in the town, though there is still some floodwater for vehicles to negotiate close to Morrisons. The Environment Agency confirmed that the height of the River Severn at the Mythe had reduced from its peak on Monday of 4.52m on Monday to 4.38m at 7.15am today.
8.32am: Continuing problems at the B4213 at Haw Bridge and A417 at Maisemore.
8.18am: Delays to trains between Cheltenham Spa and Bristol because of a landslip. Some trains are being diverted via Lydney and replacement buses are also being used.
7.50am: Old London Road and Drybrook cuttings are likely to be closed for longer because of landslips
7.49am: A417 Maismore, B4080 Bredon Rd, B4213 Hawbridge remain closed according to latest reports from highway teams
7.33am: Spittlegate Lane, Toadsmoor Road, Downtown Road and A438 Tewkesbury (Morrisons) are now passable with care.
7.30am: Schools are open as normal today. The Peak and Green Field Academies site at Stroud have reopened as normal this morning.
7.20am: Flood warnings remain in place along the River Severn. The Environment Agency say that at 6am today, the level at the Gloucester gauge was 4.24 metres and steady. A peak level of 4.32 metres occurred yesterday.
