EMERGENCY services remain on alert in Gloucestershire today ahead of more predicted wet weather this weekend.
Large areas of land, such as the part of Gloucestershire Airport pictured, are under water following recent heavy rainfall.
A mostly dry day yesterday brought some respite but the Met Office is predicting more rain coming in this afternoon and evening as well as Monday.

A statement on the organisation's website said: "Further persistent rain will spread across the area on Saturday, turning heavy at times, especially later. Given existing levels of saturation, the public should be prepared for localised flooding.Severe weather advice from the Met OfficePolice officers and county council engineers have been busy trying to keep roads open and dealing with fallen trees. On Thursday night, part of Ashchurch Road in Tewkesbury was coned off after high winds brought down a tree by a bus stop. The town's residents are keeping a close eye on flooding levels and mayor Ken Powell said yesterday that he was concerned.
He said: "I'm a little bit worried about it. The water tables are so high and the ground is saturated. That's why the water has come up so quickly.
"If it's going to be a long wet winter, we're going to be looking at a problem with flooding."
Gloucestershire police spokeswoman Alexa Collicott said: "There is due to be more bad weather over the weekend. We're monitoring the situation and are prepared to respond with our partner agencies."
Frustration reached boiling point for drivers trying to get through Lobleys Drive in Brockworth, which police closed on Thursday.
Some motorists were seen taking their cars on to the pavement to drive around a massive pool of water yesterday.
A police spokesman said the constabulary was "disappointed".
"Pavements are not a secondary route for drivers," he said. "Any motorists driving in such a way are committing an offence and we will take action where those are seen driving in such an irresponsible manner."
Lobleys Drive reopened yesterday.
Gloucestershire County Council and contractors from the Cooper's Edge developers consortium, which is still responsible for the road, were trying to clear the standing water throughout yesterday.
Elsewhere, fire crews were called at about 10.15pm on Thursday to rescue a lady who had driven into flood water on the road between Bromsberrow and Pendock and was trapped in her car. She was unhurt.
Several trees fell, blocking roads across the county. The rain also left the sports hall at Stratford Park Leisure Centre in Stroud under six inches of water but normal service was resumed within 24 hours.
With water levels at breaking point, there are fears that more rainfall will have nowhere to go.
The Environment Agency officially has Gloucestershire on a "low risk" flooding status but is warning people to be on their toes.
