FLICKING through the pages of a fashion bible inspired Katie Siller to follow one of her lifelong dreams.
Now the style guru – who has seen her eye for fashion earn her a celebrity clientele – is looking to take the next step and opening a store in Cheltenham.
It was Vogue magazine which led the Cotswolds clothing enthusiast to see the era clothing for a living.
Kate's eye for style has already seen stars from reality TV shows The Only Way is Essex and Made In Chelsea come to her door while online store ASOS is also stocking her wares.
Now, after years of private parties, she's hoping to set up a permanent WTF vintage boutique in Regent Arcade next spring.
Kate, from Upper Slaughter, said she had her eye on the location for some time.
She added: "Cheltenham is the only place I want to be.
"I think Cheltenham people have an adventurous yet classic style; they're an eclectic mix."
Kate said her passion for period clothes went back many years.
"I have always had a love affair with vintage," she said.
History
"I love the fact it has a history, and that it is literally impossible to wear the same outfit as someone else. Plus you can always re-work vintage.
"I think that 50 per cent of the vintage I sell is from the 1950s to 1980s, and it is all handmade."
On Monday, Kate will take over the Halfway House in Kineton for her very first fashion show.
The event will feature items from her range which she has hand-picked, as well as offering 20 per cent off to anyone who buys an article of clothing on the night.
She said: "The main purpose of the fashion show is to show a small section of our vintage to the women that do the hunt balls and dinner dances.
"In the boutique we stock sequin gowns, ball gowns, cocktail dresses, fur, snakeskin handbags, day dresses, the list is endless.
"And we have a large selection of cuts and sizes, from 4 to 22.
"I have gone mad on sequins this season.
"I only buy what I like for the shop. I have a strong since of style and will always follow it."
For more risque tastes, Kate will also soon be launching a "burlesque side" to her business.
The WTF vintage fashion show will be held at the Halfway House in Kineton, Guiting Power, on Monday from 7pm.
