ELDERLY residents are raising a glass to another successful get-together.
The Tredworth Estate Tenants and Residents' Association (TETRA) organised the fourth annual older people's party at Parry Hall.
Organised by Pat Scannel, the annual get-together was supposed to be the last one, but there will be one more next year.
"It was great fun and we had planned it to be the last one, but everyone had such a good time that we're going to do it again next year," said Mr Scannel.
"We had around 80 people I think from TETRA, St Stephen's Church in Linden, a group of my friends and the MS Society.
"We had a buffet, some drinks, and entertainment too. There was a double act who sang some sing-alongs."
Sainsbury's in Northgate Street supplied various foods and drink for the event on Wednesday, which is seen as an early festive gathering.
Mr Scannel added: "We like to hold our festive event early as there are so many Christmas parties."
