TWO women were injured in a crash in Gloucester last night.
The incident, which involved only one car, happened in Westgate Island at around 9pm.
The two women managed to get out of the vehicle before the emergency services arrived.
They are not believed to have serious injuries.
Firefighters were called to the scene to make sure the vehicle did not pose a risk to other drivers.
A Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "One fire appliance attended from Gloucester North Station and one from Gloucester South Station, with a total crew of ten firefighters.
"Two adult females were injured during the collision and were released before the arrival of the service and treated at the scene by an ambulance crew.
"The fire service made the vehicle safe and were detained at the incident for approximately 40 minutes."
