Photographer James Horwood captured the blaze near Stroud at its height last night.
From Bagpath, fire crews can be seen dousing the flames from an aerial appliance, as palls of smoke tower over the Golden Valley and beyond.
Around 60 fire and rescue service personnel are at the scene and police have warned residents to stay indoors and close windows as they deal with the blaze at a factory site at Eagle Mill.
