A murder investigation has been launched after a woman was killed at Wotton Lawn Hospital this morning.
Emergency services were called at around 7.30am on Wednesday July 9 to the facility, an acute mental health hospital, after reports that a woman had been stabbed.
The victim was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital but died of her injuries at around 8.30am. It is believed she may have been a nurse at Wotton Lawn.
A man in his 60s was arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody.
