CHILDREN were able to cuddle and play with animals at Cheltenham Racecourse on Saturday during The Open.
Animals from the Cotswold Farm Park, TV celebrity Adam Henson's farm, were brought to the racecourse during the Paddy Power Gold Cup race on the third day of The Open.
More than 33,000 people turned up on Saturday for the races, which is about 400 more than last year.
Ian Renton, regional director, Cheltenham and the South West, said they were delighted at the increased attendance.
