NEW traffic lights will be installed at Arle Court roundabout tomorrow following month long roadworks on the A40.
Gloucestershire Highways said the traffic signals will help the roundabout operate more efficiently.
The installation will mean highways bosses turning off the lights tomorrow morning for around an hour after the rush hour traffic.
Chris Riley, local highways manager, said: "Signs will be erected to make drivers aware of this crucial work and every effort will be made to cause as little disruption as possible."
The works at the roundabout have led to traffic jams on the main route into the town in the past month.
However, the highways teams has avoided doing work during peak traffic times.
Anyone with any concerns should call Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514.
