The Prince of Cambridge has been born. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed a baby boy at 4.24pm today. The youngest member of the Royal family weighed 8lb 6oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present at the birth. No name has yet been announced. People across the county welcomed the news. Nickie Philipson-Stow, who runs the Orange Pig children's clothes shop in Tewkesbury High Street, said: "I'm thrilled for both of them and the Queen. I wish them every happiness. "I only wish I lived a bit nearer to them so I could dress the baby from my shop." Libby Reichwald, who runs the Carousel children's clothes shop in Montpellier, Cheltenham, with business partner Jo Friel, said: "We're thrilled for Kate. We both have children and work in the children's clothing industry so we're eager to see what clothes she favours." She added that had it not been for Catherine and Prince William, the shop might never have opened. She said: "We met at a street party for Kate and Wills' wedding and Carousel grew out of that."
