ALL sorts of quirky items have passed through the doors of the Upstairs Downstairs Antiques Centre.
Now Vic Foster, who has been running the Severn Road centre for the past 12 years, has stumbled across a replica 8ft tall Big Ben.
"When it came in the clocks didn't work but three or four hours later and it was back in running order," said Vic.
"It is mainly made of pine and has four clocks, one of which chimes just like the real Big Ben.
"We have had lots of interesting items here at the antiques centre before but never anything quite like this.
"We will just keep it in the shop for now and see what happens but I guess if someone is interested in it then we might consider selling it for the right price."
