SUN worshippers made the most of the high temperatures as the thermometer hit 31°C at the weekend.
Fans watching the cricket festival at Cheltenham College stripped off their tops as they watched the batsmen and bowlers play in the hot sunshine.
And visitors to the county's various events were making sure they had put on the sun cream before heading out into the heat of the day.
And weather experts are expecting the temperatures to remain high throughout the week following hottest weekend of the year so far.
On Monday, the county could reach 27°C giving continuous pleasure for sun worshippers. And, although there may be some cloud cover on Tuesday, temperatures are unlikely to fall.
A forecaster for the Met Office said highest temperature for 2013 was recorded on Saturday at Heathrow Airport when it hit 31.4°C.
