Hundreds of people have descended on Coleford for the inaugural Busking Festival.
The event, the brainchild of town councillor Nick Penny, saw a stage set up at the Clock Tower for musicians to showcase their talents.
Meanwhile, the more timid musicians busked around the town.
Mr Penny said: "It is really great and lots of people have turned up.
"I'm hoping to make it an annual event."
