PRIZE pooches were on parade at a traditional summer fair in Witcombe.
Villagers came together to enjoy the annual village fete, which kicked off with a pet show on Sunday, in spite of the windy weather.
Others enjoyed a barbecue, ice cream, tea and cake, and children were entertained with face-painting, bouncy castles and many games.
Jeff Pilgrim, chair of social fundraising events, said: "Luckily it was not raining but very windy but all the residents had a brilliant time.
"It was a community event. Most of the proceedings will go towards repairing the Witcombe Village Hall roof."
