A MOTORIST had to be rescued from her overturned car after it careened off of the M5 this morning.
The incident happened shortly before 9.15am just south of junction 11A and caused police to shut one lane of the motorway southbound.
The emergency services were quickly on the scene and it is believed the fire service had to cut the woman free from her blue Rover.
The driver was reported to be sat up and talking while fire fighters helped her and she has been taken to hospital having suffered minor injuries.
