A SERIOUS crash involving a car and a female pedestrian has caused a handful of roads in and around Cheltenham General Hospital to be closed this morning.
The accident occurred shortly after 11am at the College Lawn junction with Thirlestaine Road.
Road closures have been put in place at the junction of Bath Road and Thirlestaine Road while College Lawn itself has been shut down.
The Sandford Road junction with College Lawn has also been closed.
The pedestrian is believed to have suffered serious injuries and the air ambulance is currently en route to the scene.
