CHILDREN and staff in Bishop's Cleeve will show off their plants and gardening skills at a plant sale today.
The Garden Club at Bishop's Cleeve Primary Academy will sell a selection of flowers and vegetable plants they have grown at the school.
Any money raised from the sale will go to supporting the activities of the club.
Twelve members of the club have worked hard over a long winter cultivating the plants and flowers, and setting up the garden in preparation for the summer.
The club has been supported by Gotherington Nurseries, which provided the equipment.
Jill Sanders, the teacher in charge, said: "The weather has not been great, and it has been a long winter.
"Someone from the nursery came to see what we have done here, and he said he would like to support us, which was lovely.
"Even when we have not been able to get out to work on the plants, the children have worked very hard to work on the furniture indoors and to prepare the garden as a quiet place in the school."
