GLOUCESTER'S pop sensation Nathan Sykes has landed in hot water after his band were slapped with a £10,000 bill for trashing their rented Hollywood mansion.
The Wanted have been out in LA working on their latest album. Nathan has had to take a back seat for much of this year due to an operation on his vocal chords.
Despite his condition., the 20-year-old from Abbeydale didn't hold back on the party lifestyle, joining his chums for some traditional celebrity antics.
The band threw a series of raucous house parties and broke pretty much everything in sight, ruined the decor then didn't tidy up for the whole three months.
At a monthly rental cost of £30,000, the seven-bed villa -complete with pool, bar and 10 acres of land doesn't come cheap.
And that was reflected in the cost of the damages.
Their stay has been caught on camera for a reality show which premieres on E! on Monday at 9pm.
The jacuzzi had to be completely drained, because – by the Brit-Irish band's own admission – it became a "petri dish for bacteria".
Somehow they managed to pull some tiles off the wall, too.
"They had to drain the jacuzzi – completely drain it," said Nathan.
Fellow band mate Siva, 22, said: "They did charge us up the wall for messing up the tiles.
"And there was a rim of scum along the top of the water on the leather interiors.
"When they emptied it out, the stain didn't come out, so they charged us for that. It was £10,000 in total."
