YOUNG entrepreneur Kirn Chakraborty came up with the idea for his business when he was just 10 years old.
Now, six years later, he has processed more than 20,000 orders.
The Gloucestershire College student runs SeeCClothing, and acts as the middleman between those wanting bespoke hooded tops, fleeces, T-shirts and tracksuit bottoms, and manufacturers who can provide the service.
He now wants to increase his business.
Kirn, of Selkirk Close in Pittville, was one of many students to visit the StartUp Britain bus at Gloucestershire College to allow students to rub shoulders with local entrepreneurs and business advisors.
Kirn, who is studying software development, first got a feel for the business while at school. He moved to Winchcombe School and started making his idea a reality there, selling personalised sweatshirts and hooded tops when the school went on a trip to France, or away skiing.
He said: "I saw the kinds of clothes my classmates were buying were pretty poor. So my parents helped me find a supplier and I took in the samples to school and realised it was a great way of doing business."
His business expanded and he provided hooded tops to Glenfall Primary School, to charities and to sport events.
Kirn's business grew rapidly last year when he bumped into the president of the law society at the University College London (UCL) while on holiday in Greece.
"We got chatting and I told him about my business and he told me about the big need for law students to have course hoodies," said Kirn.
But Kirn realises he still has plenty of work to do.
Entrepreneur Neil Anderson from the StartUp bus said: "What people like Kirn need to do is kick on and get to the next level. He needs to drive forwards and collaborate with others who can offer their acumen and expertise."
