TWO men and a woman were arrested on a train outside Gloucester this morning after one of them allegedly brandished a knife at other passengers.
The train was stopped after leaving Gloucester shortly after 8am after a dispute is said to have broken out.
British Transport Police and Gloucestershire police were called to a junction at Horton Road where the train had been halted.
Officers boarded the train and arrested three offenders – one of whom was carrying a knife – on suspicion of public order offences.
The train service was cancelled as a result of the incident and a replacement service was found.
Police took statements from some of the passengers but are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident.
