PRIZE farm animals, food and drink to tease the taste buds and countryside folk music are entertaining thousands this weekend.
The ever-popular Three Counties Show got under way at The Showground, in Malvern, yesterday.
One man who knows a thing or two about the show's livestock judging competitions is Newent farmer Eric Freeman.
Back in 1974 he won the first Gloucester class at the Three Counties Show with his prize bull.
He has since become a stalwart of the popular event – and has this year been made an honorary governor of the show to reward his dedication.
