FREE tennis will be on offer to local folk thanks to an £18,000 plus Dursley Town Council project.
The council has decided that once its courts on the War Memorial Recreation Ground are resurfaced and improved, there will be no charge to use them.
The idea is to encourage more people to enjoy the courts.
Chairman of the council's Green Spaces Committee, Coun Alex Stennett said: "It's really great to be able to bring this facility back to top-notch condition."
Specialist contractors will also install new nets and create a new gate in the fence starting tomorrow.
