POLICE in Barton and Tredworth have been cracking down on youths throwing eggs and stones.
Recently police have experienced a number of reports from residents in Massey Road and Hatherley Road of youngsters throwing things and kicking off car wing mirrors.
However, following consultation with residents officers believe the situation has improved.
PC Jo Cryer and PCSO Mark Jones have visited local shops who may have been selling eggs to local youths. At a police meeting held at Barton Community Centre on Wednesday, May 29 it was agreed the issue had been resolved.
