CRICKETERS at one of the country's oldest clubs are waiting with bated breath for a court decision which could see them stumped forever.
Charlton Kings Cricket Club (CKCC) has been embroiled in a legal battle with 63-year-old Cheltenham widow Jacki Mitchell over the ownership of the land which the club currently play on.
The fight to keep the Ryeworth Field site finished on Thursday night, after more than 20 months of legal exchanges.
Both parties will now have to wait for judges in the High Court to announce a decision, which is due in two to eight weeks.
