SOCIAL housing is being allocated on the redeveloped Cashes Green Hospital site, chairman of Cainscross Parish Council Barrie Pierce told the annual parish meeting.
Work on the site was continuing at a fast pace and was now only a few weeks late after earlier running months behind programme, said Mr Pierce.
Show homes were due to be open in August and Channel 4 Grand Designs programme host Kevin McCloud, whose company is involved in the project with Cashes Green Community Land Trust, will officially opening the scheme on September 14.
