Missing teen found

A 16-year-old boy who went missing earlier this month has been found safe and well.

Thando Kona, from Longhope, was reported missing on Wednesday October 17.

He walked into Gloucester police station on Friday night to report he had been staying with a relative.

Follow-up meetings with partner agencies are now taking place to try to reduce the chance of Thando going missing again.

Police thanked all those who assisted with the search.
