ACTIVISTS fighting the badger cull claimed to have spotted a convoy of marksmen roaming land near Tewkesbury.
The campaigners said armed men wearing dark glasses were circling Forthampton Estate in their vehicles.
One witness said he had also seen a truck "race" through Blakeney Forest while 30 campaigners patrolled the area.
Badger shooting in the county has been ordered by the Government from June 1 as part of a pilot cull to prevent the spread of bovine TB in cattle.Full story on Gloucestershireecho.co.uk
