A CLEANER stole jewellery from two of her clients while on a suspended sentence for taking £9,000 from a playgroup.
Claire Thompson, 36, was given a six-month suspended jail sentence in August last year after the theft from Lewis Lane Playgroup in Cirencester, where she was treasurer, which forced it to close down.
Within nine months from her sentencing she was stealing again after lying to get work as a cleaner for two women.
Mum-of-two Thompson, of Upper Churnside, Cirencester, was jailed for nine months yesterday at Gloucester Crown Court after admitting three charges of theft in breach of her suspended sentence.
