NOMINATIONS are being invited for an annual award for community service in Frampton-on-Severn.
Names of individuals or couples in the village can be put forward for the Bill Wood Memorial Shield from now until the end of August.
Candidates should be people who have made a significant contribution to the civic life, sport, the environment, youth, the elderly or disabled.
The late Mr Wood, pictured, was an Honoured Framptonian, a title bestowed for work which has benefited the community. Nominations should be sent to Frampton-on-Severn Parish Council clerk Lynn Ireland at East House, 40 Upton's Garden,Whitminster.
