A BICYCLE worth £500 has been stolen from outside a chip shop in Quedgeley.
The incident happened at The Quedgeley Fryer, in School Lane, at around 9.10pm on Monday, May 20.
A man left his Marco mountain bike propped against the front window of the shop while he went in to purchase his dinner.
While being served a man, described as white, with brown hair and wearing a green and black jacket, snatched the bike and rode off towards Bristol Road. The owner pursued the thief but lost him.
The white framed bike has green handle bars and 21 gears. At the time of its theft it also had a saddle bag on the back.
