Ram raiders escape with cigarettes and alcohol

HOODED ram raiders escaped in a stolen 4x4 from a supermarket with cigarettes and alcohol.
At about 2.30am today a trolley, and a Ford Maverick believed to have been stolen from Bloomfield Road, Gloucester were used to smash through the Co-op's side door in Laburnum Walk, Stonehouse before three people in hooded tops, hats and scarves  raided the cigarette kiosk and put them in a green wheelie bin. 
A black Ford Maverick, believed to have been used in the incident, was discovered with the wheelie bin near the Carpenters Arms pub in Westrip, Stroud shortly after 7.30am today (Monday October 29).
The car was stolen between 7.30pm on Friday, October 26 and 11.15am on Saturday, October 27.
House to house, forensic and CCTV inquiries are continuing and police are appealing to the public to call in if they have any information.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in any of these areas or has any other information that could be related to these crimes should ring 101, quoting incident 23 of October 29.
