PUPILS pedalled for pounds when the Park Infants School enjoyed a sponsored bike ride and scoot.
The children lapped their playground in Stonehouse on their bicycles and scooters during the fun fund raiser arranged by their friends group.
The youngsters also sponsored headteacher Rachel Edwards, who cycled her eight-mile journey into school.
Cash was still being collected but Mrs Edwards said she hoped to raise around £1,000, which would pay for new reading books.
She said: "We all had a fun day. Thank you to everyone."
