ARTISTS can follow the numbers in the name of art to help a community painting take shape.
More than 100 people aged from two up have made their mark on the Paint by Numbers' interactive artwork in the empty Currys shop in Stroud's High Street.
Artist Sarah Dixon has invited everyone to pick up a paintbrush and help complete her giant image as part of Site 2013 festival.
"Some people have spent a long time, getting involved and painting all the number 23 shapes, others have got creative and added spots or animals," she said.
Painting by Numbers will be open again on Wednesdays and Saturdays until May 22. The final artwork, which will be up to 2.5m by 1.5m, will be for sale by silent auction, raising funds for a charity as voted for by participants.
