What's your favourite Gloucestershire day out?
A long walk across the Stroud Valleys via a pub or two with my wife Debbie and our dog Suki.
And your favourite place to eat out in the county?
I'd like to be posh, but the Big Fish takeaway in Nelson Street, Stroud does the best chips I've ever tasted.
What's the worst job you've ever had?
I'd better not mention my three years at The Citizen! I once spent a day sticking paper clock faces onto plastic watches. Never did time go so slowly!
Have you got any unusual habits?
I do a Prog Rock and Metal radio show every Monday on Stroud FM.
Who is your hero and why?
My long-standing political colleague John Marjoram – as someone who has dedicated so much of his life trying to make Stroud a better place. A gem.
What album are you listening to at the moment?
InFictions – Maps of Revenge & Forgiveness – a progressive rock band from Sheffield.
What was the last film you watched?
Untouchable – a brilliant French movie.
First single/record you ever bought?
Adam and The Ants – Kings of the Wild Frontier (I had to start somewhere!).
