HUNDREDS of young people not in education or employment are being given a helping hand.
The Young Gloucestershire charity launched The Link, a drop-in service for Neet, (young people not in education, employment or training), six months ago.
Now, the service is busier than ever with 270 youngsters passing through its office doors during April.
Megan John, Neet youth worker, said: "We get so many young people in from all walks of life. Sometimes we will help people in the writing of their CV, we'll help them look for jobs, we hold employability workshops and we also teach maths and English for free."
The centre runs from Southgate Street, Gloucester.
