PUPILS will soon be enjoying a newly refurbished library thanks to the generous donations of a masons' lodge.
The membership of the Via Lucis lodge is derived from those with a connection to The King's School, Gloucester, either as a former pupil or as a former or current member of staff.
At the recent reunion weekend, held at the school, lodge master Roger Hale, handed over a cheque for £5,000. The combined funds have been put towards the refurbishment of the senior school library.
Headmaster Alistair Macnaughton said: "We are fortunate to have such a support and it is wonderful to see former pupils and staff maintain a link to the school in this way."
