IT was all about the ice creams and getting outdoors in the glorious sunshine as Gloucester bathed in the warmest day of the year so far.
The mercury shot up to 23C (74F) in some parts of Gloucester yesterday, with families making the most of the fine weather to take in the sights and sounds of the city.
It will be more of the same today with unbroken sunshine and similar temperatures before rain moves in overnight. Tomorrow will start off damp with some sharp showers and it will be cooler at 15C (59F).
Unfortunately, more showers are predicted to hit Gloucester by Thursday.
