WHEN Jamie Tredgett and his daughter Sophie looked around their area, they felt there wasn't much in the way of facilities.
So the pair set up The Tanning Beautique salon on Armscroft Road, in Barnwood.
Their salon open on Thursday.
Sophie, 16, said: "It's a new venture for us. We thought it would be good for the area.
"We need something like this around here."
They have taken on a couple of workers to help them out.
