SO many petrol heads wanted to display their pride and joy at the Wheel Nuts car show that organisers had to turn some of them away.
More than 400 gleaming entries lined up in the grounds of St Rose's School in Stroud on Sunday.
And the fine weather, in stark contrast to the rain storms which affected last year's event, brought out more than 2,000 spectators – raising £9,500 for the Stratford Lawn school.
Vehicles came from more than 20 car clubs from all over the country to take part in the show.
Cars ranged from a 1904 Berliet to a top-of-the-range 2013 McLaren MP4-12C Spider supercar, with many motors and motorcycles from across the decades in between.
Judges had a tough job deciding the winners but the prize for best sports car was awarded to the 1954 MG TF and the best car in show was awarded to the pristine 1961 Vauxhall Cresta.
