SCARLETS bosses have vehemently denied any chance tighthead Samson Lee will leave Llanelli.
The highly-rated 20-year-old prop signed a five-year contract last summer, but has been linked with a potential move away from the Scarlets at the end of the season.
Sources in Wales and beyond have intimated that Lee could be among a number of players to leave the Scarlets as further cost-cutting bites.
The Citizen yesterday explained how Gloucester boss Nigel Davies could be ready to snap up the powerful front-rower, should the Scarlets be forced to let him leave.
But the Scarlets have strongly refuted any such notion.
A club statement reads: "Samson continues to be a committed Scarlet, is under contract to us for five years and is very much part of our future.
"We are proud of the fact that Samson is one of a number of exciting and emerging players in West Wales who are showing their ambition and loyalty to the Scarlets and making great strides in their rugby development from working within our environment and region.
"He will continue to be a key part of our Scarlets squad going forward."
