Cheltenham Literature Festival line up announced

CHELTENHAM Literature Festival has announced a line up full of famous faces for this year's event.
Renowned authors, politicians, actors, comedians and TV presenters make up the list of speakers for the festival, which runs from October 4 to 13.
Famous authors set to discuss their work include Roddy Doyle, Helen Fielding, Max Hastings, AC Grayling, Kate Mosse, Ian Rankin, Alison Weir and Joanna Trollope.
Cuban former English National Ballet star Carlos Acosta will also speak, as will former BBC chief news correspondent Kate Adie.
TV presenters Peter Snow and Melvyn Bragg, comedians Alexander Armstrong, Julian Clary and Marcus Brigstocke, and author Pam Ayres are also on the bill.
Famous politicians appearing include UKIP leader Nigel Farage, as well as Alan Johnson Douglas Hurd.
Jane Furze, Literature Festival director, said: "We're delighted to be able to confirm these great names, and look forward to adding more speakers to the line-up in the summer.
"Our festival theme this year is memory, and it promises to be a really fascinating topic.
"We'll be announcing the full line-up in August ahead of members booking from August 26."
