BRADFORD City are the best team Cheltenham Town have faced this season, according to boss Mark Yates.
The Robins must beat the former Premier League club at the Abbey Business Stadium on Saturday to have any chance of claiming automatic promotion to League One this season.
If they take maximum points on the final day of the regular season and Rotherham United lose at home to Aldershot Town, Cheltenham will finish third and will not have to tackle the play-offs for a second successive season.
After glory in both 2002 and 2006, they lost out in the final, going down 2-0 to Crewe Alexandra at Wembley last May.
Led by former Hull City and Charlton Athletic boss Phil Parkinson, Bradford reached the final of the League Cup this season, losing 5-0 to top flight club Swansea City in the final.
They beat Cheltenham 3-1 at Valley Parade earlier in the season and Yates knows his team will have to be at their best to capitalise, should Rotherham slip up.
"All we can do is take care of our result, which is what we've always said," Yates said.
"Hopefully we'll have big crowd at home to Bradford and you never know what is around the corner.
"Bradford for me are the best team we've played this season, so we know how tough it's going to be.
"If we don't get there, there will be a minute's disappointment and then we can focus fully on the play-offs."
Yates admitted that Rotherham will be favourites to claim three points against bottom club Aldershot, for whom former Cheltenham striker Jeff Goulding is likely to start.
"Rotherham are a big club with a good manager, a decent budget and some quality players," Yate said.
"They are where they expect to be and they'll expect to win that game, but we have to expect to win ours and make sure we do and then hope things go our way."
Yates said he will have no interest in events at the New York Stadium until the final whistle has blown at Whaddon Road.
"Knowing the Rotherham score won't help the players or me so I don't want to know it," he said.
"It will be irrelevant if we don't win, so that's all we'll be focusing on until ten to five and then we can see what's happened elsewhere."
