PUPILS at King's School have walked like an Egyptian and built like an Egyptian.
Years Three and Four have built an impressive pyramid as part of a history workshop.
The children dressed in Egyptian costume to get into role and took part in a number of activities. These included making papyrus paper, carving hieroglyphics into stone, pulling each other on an Egyptian sledge, wrapping mummies and helping to build the three metre high pyramid.
Year Three teacher Helen McVittie said: "The day was great fun but also challenged everyone's problem solving and maths skills along the way."
