Cheltenham Town Ladies were sunk by two late goals at home to Frome Town in their final match of the season.
It was a harsh scoreline for Ian Hutton's team, who looked the more likely to break the deadlock in the second half before Frome struck to take the points.

The match was played in windy conditions at Newlands Park and clear goalscoring chances were at a premium throughout the first half.
Cheltenham looked well organised and in control at the back with central defenders Rhona Donaldson and Hannah Robson comfortable and full-backs Kirsty Dunleavy and Natalie Berry taking every opportunity to attack and support wide midfielders Liz Dawson and Charlie Griffin.
Berry and Jo Lenton were on target in Cheltenham's 2-1 victory at Frome back in December.
Front pair Natalie Potter and Chenise Austin unsettled the Somerset side's defence, without ever seriously testing the goalkeeper.
Griffin shot wide after a good pass from Austin, but the first half ended goalless.
Battling against the blustery conditions in the second half, Cheltenham coped well and enjoyed the territorial advantage.
Substitute Jacqueline Haines went close with a low effort that cleared the far post and a long-range strike from Hazel Adams just cleared the bar and there was no breakthrough for the Robins.
Cheltenham finished the season with six wins and three draws from their 18 league matches and under Hutton's leadership they are hoping to mount a promotion push next term.
They will report back for pre-season training in June and you can follow their fortunes throughout on www.thisigloucestershire.co.uk.
