A 26-year-old motorcyclist from Cirencester has died following a collision near the Cotswold village of Barnsley.
The man died in the crash on the B4425 at around 2pm yesterday.
Police and paramedics arrived but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed.
The road between Barnsley and Bibury was closed for several hours yesterday as police carried out investigations at the scene.
